Job summary

Universal Robina Corporation is seeking a Production Operator to operate specific machines, following standard operating procedures and ensuring production within specifications at the right time and at minimum cost.

The role includes preventive and corrective maintenance, on-line QC, and adherence to GMP, safety procedures and company rules, with on-site work in Calamba City, Laguna.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Industrial), Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Others), Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and checks quality of all materials needed for the scheduled operations.
• Cleans, sanitizes and prepares machine(s) and surrounding area before operations.
• Checks if machine(s) are in good running condition.
• Operates the machine(s) in accordance with SOPs.
• Performs online QC and checks in process/finished product specifications to ensure quality.
• Maintains and inventories materials and finished goods as required by the machine.

The Production Operator operates specific machine/sassigned to him following standard operating procedures and ensures that theyare in good running condition. Responsible for producing goods within standardspecifications at the right time at a minimum cost. Performs immediatecorrective maintenance and troubleshooting in case machine breaks down andconducts preventive maintenance as planned until authorized personnel areavailable.

Whatare the Roles and Responsibilities?

• Preparesand checks quality of all the materials needed for the scheduledoperations.
• Cleans,sanitizes and prepares the machine/s and surrounding area beforeoperations in accordance with standard cleaning and start-up procedures.
• Checksif machine/s are in good running condition.
• Ensureless start up rejections
• Operatesthe machine/s in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedures.
• FollowsGood Manufacturing Practices, Safety Procedures, Company rules andregulations.
• PerformsOn-line QC and checks in process / finished product specifications on therequired frequency to ensure good quality products.
• Conductsdaily inventory of raw, packaging, cleaning materials, consumables, andfinished goods depending on machine being operated.
• Accomplishesand signs production reports (forms and logbooks) and inventory reports.
• Reportsall matters affecting machine operation and product quality to ProductionSupervisor.
• Ensuresproper turnover of the machine operation to his reliever.
• Coordinateswith other machine operators.
• Ensuresmachines are properly shutdown and all materials (good and rejects) areproperly segregated, weighed, labeled and placed in designated areas.
• Conductsgeneral cleaning of machine and surroundings as per Standard CleaningProcedures
• Ensuresthat all machine parts / accessories and tools are in placed/ secured andmachines are turned-off before leaving the area.
• Performsother functions as may be assigned by superior from time

Whatare the Qualifications?

• Candidatemust possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, Engineering(Mechanical), Engineering (Industrial), Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Others), Engineering(Mechatronic/Electromechanical) or equivalent.
• Applicantsmust be willing to work in Km. 50 Brgy. San Cristobal, Calamba City,Laguna.
• Preferably1-4 Yrs Experienced Employees specializing in Manufacturing/ProductionOperations or equivalent.
