Job summary

Universal Robina Corporation in Calamba, Laguna is seeking a Production Operator to handle specific machines, follow SOPs, and ensure output meets quality and cost targets.

You will prepare materials, inspect machines, perform preventive maintenance, and report issues to the Production Supervisor while maintaining GMP and safety standards.

Work Schedule: Monday - Saturday with shifting hours.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical/Electronic, Others, Mechatronic/Electromechanical) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and checks quality of all materials needed for scheduled operations.
• Cleans, sanitizes and prepares machines and surrounding area per cleaning procedures.
• Checks machines are in good running condition and performs preventive maintenance as needed.
• Operates machines according to SOPs and adheres to GMP and safety rules.
• Performs on-line QC and checks process/finished product specs at required frequencies.

Job description

Universal Robina Corporation is looking for a Production Operator.

The Production Operator operates specific machine/sassigned to him following standard operating procedures and ensures that theyare in good running condition. Responsible for producing goods within standardspecifications at the right time at a minimum cost. Performs immediatecorrective maintenance and troubleshooting in case machine breaks down andconducts preventive maintenance as planned until authorized personnel areavailable.

Whatare the Roles and Responsibilities?

• Prepares and checks quality of all the materials needed for the scheduled operations.
• Cleans, sanitizes and prepares the machine/s and surrounding area before operations in accordance with standardcleaning and start-up procedures.
• Checks if machine/s are in good runningcondition.
• Ensure less start up rejections
• Operates the machine/s in accordance with theStandard Operating Procedures.
• Follows Good Manufacturing Practices, SafetyProcedures, Company rules and regulations.
• Performs On-line QC and checks in process /finished product specifications on the required frequency to ensure goodquality products.
• Conducts daily inventory of raw, packaging,cleaning materials, consumables, and finished goods depending on machinebeing operated.
• Accomplishes and signs production reports(forms and logbooks) and inventory reports.
• Reports all matters affecting machineoperation and product quality to Production Supervisor.
• Ensures proper turnover of the machineoperation to his reliever.
• Coordinates with other machine operators.
• Ensures machines are properly shutdown and allmaterials (good and rejects) are properly segregated, weighed, labeled andplaced in designated areas.
• Conducts general cleaning of machine andsurroundings as per Standard Cleaning Procedures
• Ensures that all machine parts / accessoriesand tools are in placed/ secured and machines are turned-off beforeleaving the area.
• Performs other functions as may be assigned bysuperior from time
• Work Schedule: Monday - Saturday (shiftingschedule)
