Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any four-year course.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in commissary, commercial bakery, or food manufacturing production management.
• In-depth knowledge of food safety standards, production processes, and equipment maintenance.
• Proven track record in managing large production teams, conflict resolution, and shift scheduling in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong ability to track key production metrics.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and time management abilities.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with various teams and departments.
• Willing to supervise in a shifting schedule.
• Prior experience with high-volume, premium commercial food production, cold-chain logistics, or bakery/dairy commissaries (preferred but not required)

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage daily/weekly production schedules based on sales forecasts and store orders to ensure timely delivery without overstocking.
• Monitor yield rates, minimize food waste, optimize line efficiency, and ensure standard operating procedures are strictly enforced.
• Maintain HACCP, GMP, and local food safety compliance.
• Oversee sanitation, cold-chain maintenance, and product quality checks.
• Lead, mentor, and supervise kitchen supervisors, line leads, and production staff.
• Manage labor scheduling, manpower allocation, and performance evaluations.
• Collaborate with supply chain and warehouse teams to track material usage and control costs.
• Identify bottlenecks, implement lean manufacturing, and upgrade workflow efficiency.
