Job summary

Hoc Po Feeds Corporation in Bulacan is seeking a proactive Production Manager to lead our manufacturing team in Guiguinto. You will oversee daily operations, ensure safe and timely production of high-quality animal feeds, and drive productivity through data-driven decision making.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Electrical, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering, with at least 5 years in production and 2 in a supervisory role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in production or manufacturing operations, with at least 2 years in a managerial role, preferably in feed manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of production planning, process optimization, root cause analysis, and waste reduction.
• Experience in Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, or other continuous improvement methodologies is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, planning, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and people management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and production reporting.

Responsibilities

• Monitor KPIs such as MH/MT, OEE, downtime, yield, waste, and cost per ton; drive improvements.
• Identify root causes of issues and implement corrective actions.

• Optimize utilization of manpower, materials, equipment, and utilities.
• Coordinate with Maintenance, Warehouse, Purchasing, and QC for smooth operations.
• Analyze production data and prepare reports with performance recommendations.
• Develop and improve standard operating procedures and production policies.
• Lead and develop production supervisors and staff.

Hoc Po Feeds Corporation is looking for a proactive and results-driven Production Production Manager to lead our production team and optimize manufacturing operations.

Work Location: Guiguinto, Bulacan

About the role

The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing all production activities to ensure the efficient, safe, and timely manufacturing of quality animal feeds. The role focuses on maximizing productivity, achieving operational targets, identifying the root causes of production issues, eliminating waste, and driving continuous process improvements to support the company's business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage daily production operations to ensure efficient and uninterrupted manufacturing.

• Ensure production targets are achieved while maintaining product quality, operational efficiency, and workplace safety.

• Monitor, analyze, and drive the achievement of key production performance indicators (KPIs), including manhour per metric ton (MH/MT), production output, machine utilization, overall equipment effectiveness (OEE), downtime, yield, waste reduction, and production cost per metric ton through effective production management and continuous process improvement.

• Identify root causes of production issues, equipment downtime, quality concerns, and process inefficiencies, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to eliminate waste, improve productivity, reduce operating costs, and optimize manufacturing processes.

• Ensure the efficient utilization of manpower, raw materials, production equipment, and utilities.

• Coordinate closely with the Maintenance, Warehouse, Purchasing, and Quality Control teams to ensure smooth production operations.

• Analyze production data and prepare operational reports with recommendations to improve plant performance.

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve production procedures and standard operating practices.

• Lead, coach, and develop production supervisors and personnel to build a high-performing production team.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, production procedures, quality standards, and workplace safety regulations.

• Prepare and present production performance, operational analysis, and improvement reports to Management to support strategic planning and decision-making.

• Perform other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by Management from time to time.
