Hoc Po Feeds Corporation is looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounting Officer to join our growing team.
Work Location: Bagong Barrio, Caloocan
The Accounting Officer is responsible for managing and monitoring accounting transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring timely processing and reporting of financial information. The role supports the company's accounting operations through proper documentation, reconciliation, analysis, and compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
Monitor and review accounting transactions and financial activities related to fish and shrimp farm operations.
Track farm expenses, purchases, inventory usage, and other operational costs to ensure accurate recording and reporting.
Prepare and maintain financial reports, cost monitoring reports, and other accounting documents for farm operations.
Review supporting documents such as purchase requests, invoices, liquidation reports, and expense reports for accuracy and completeness.
Monitor farm budgets, expenses, and operational costs to identify variances and provide necessary reports.
Coordinate with farm personnel regarding financial transactions, documentation requirements, and operational expenses.
Ensure proper recording and reconciliation of farm-related accounts and transactions.
Assist in analyzing production costs, feed expenses, farm inputs, and other operational expenditures.
Maintain organized records of accounting documents and ensure availability of supporting files.
Assist in the preparation of periodic financial reports and management reports.
Ensure compliance with company accounting procedures, internal controls, and documentation standards.
Support audit activities by providing required accounting records and supporting documents.
Perform other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by Management from time to time.
Bachelor's degree in BS Accountancy/BSBA major in Financial Accounting or Management Accounting
1-2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably in the Accounting industry;Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations
Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications
Excellent attention to detail and problem‑solving skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
This position is for EDSA Caloocan based but willing to be trained in Hoc Po Plant Office located at Guiguinto, Bulacan within one month or beyond.
