Job summary

APPETITE LABS, INC. in Mandaluyong City, Metro Manila, is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead all manufacturing and production operations. This full-time role focuses on meeting targets efficiently while upholding top quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.

You will guide production staff, coordinate with other departments, optimize processes and manage budgets to reduce costs and drive continuous improvement across the facility.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in production management or a similar supervisory role in manufacturing.
• Experience implementing lean manufacturing, Six Sigma or related methodologies.
• Knowledge of quality control processes and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Proficiency with production management software and MS Office.
• Certification in production management or Lean manufacturing is advantageous.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to join APPETITE LABS, INC. in Mandaluyong City, Metro Manila. This is a full‑time position that plays a critical role in overseeing all manufacturing and production operations. As Production Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that production targets are met efficiently whilst maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety and compliance. You will lead a team of production staff and work closely with other departments to optimise processes, reduce costs and drive continuous improvement. This role is essential to the success of our operations and directly impacts the company's ability to deliver products on time and to specification.

Key responsibilities

• Planning, scheduling and coordinating all production activities to meet demand forecasts and delivery deadlines
• Supervising and managing production staff, including hiring, training, performance management and staff development
• Monitoring production efficiency and identifying opportunities for process improvements and cost optimisation
• Ensuring compliance with all health, safety and environmental regulations across the production facility
• Managing inventory levels and coordinating with supply chain and procurement teams to ensure adequate materials
• Conducting regular quality checks and implementing corrective actions to maintain product standards
• Maintaining accurate production records, reports and documentation
• Liaising with engineering, quality assurance and maintenance teams to resolve production issues
• Implementing lean manufacturing principles and best practices to enhance operational efficiencyManaging production budgets and controlling costs without compromising quality

What we’re looking for

• Minimum 5 years' experience in production management or a similar supervisory role within a manufacturing environment
• Proven track record of successfully managing production teams and achieving operational targets
• Strong knowledge of production planning, scheduling and inventory management systems
• Experience implementing lean manufacturing, Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies
• In-depth understanding of quality control processes and regulatory compliance requirements
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities under pressure
• Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members
• Proficiency in production management software and Microsoft Office applications
• Certification in production management, lean manufacturing or related field is advantageous
• Knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practices in manufacturing environments
