About the role

We are seeking a Production Supervisor (Process Engineer) to join our production team at our Marilao Bulacan facility. This is a full-time position that plays a critical role in ensuring efficient, safe, and compliant food production operations. As Production Supervisor, you will bridge the gap between process engineering and day-to-day production execution, overseeing manufacturing processes, managing production schedules, and leading a team to achieve operational targets whilst maintaining the highest standards of food safety and quality. This role is pivotal to our commitment to delivering consistent, safe products to our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily production operations, including process monitoring, equipment performance, and adherence to production schedules and targets

• Implement and maintain food safety protocols, quality control procedures, and compliance with regulatory standards such as GMP, HACCP, HALAL, BRCGS, FSSC 22000 and other applicable food safety regulations

• Lead, supervise, and manage production team members, including assignment of tasks, training, performance management, and fostering a safe working environment

• Conduct equipment maintenance checks, troubleshoot process issues, and coordinate with maintenance teams to minimise downtime and ensure optimal equipment performance

• Monitor production metrics, record data, and prepare reports on production efficiency, losses, and variances

• Implement continuous improvement initiatives, including process optimisation and waste reduction strategies

• Ensure strict adherence to food safety standards, hygiene practices, and workplace safety regulations across all production areas

• Conduct regular audits of production areas and processes to maintain compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements

• Collaborate with process engineers and quality assurance teams to resolve technical issues and implement process improvements

• Provide on-the-job training to production staff on equipment operation, safety procedures, and production standards

• Document production incidents, deviations, and corrective actions in accordance with regulatory requirements

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience in food manufacturing

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a production supervisory or process engineering role within food manufacturing or a related industry

• Strong knowledge of food safety management systems, including HACCP, and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and other applicable food safety regulations.

• Proven experience in process optimisation, equipment operation, and troubleshooting

• Excellent leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members

• Proficiency in production planning, inventory management, and performance metrics tracking
