• Knowledge of OEE, downtime analysis, and production KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Monitor production processes, machine performance, productivity, and output.
• Identify and analyze production and machine-related problems affecting productivity.
• Assist in troubleshooting PLC-controlled and automated production machinery.
• Analyze machine alarms, HMI indications, sensors, motors, and control-system components.
• Coordinate with Maintenance and Production Teams to resolve issues.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis for recurring machine and process problems.
• Analyze downtime and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Prepare production and downtime reports.
• Assist in trials, commissioning, and improvements of equipment and processes.

About the Job

We are looking for a Production & Process Engineer who will support the efficient, reliable, and continuous operation of our manufacturing processes and production equipment.

The position will be responsible for monitoring production performance, analyzing machine and process issues, assisting in troubleshooting automated production equipment, and implementing improvements to increase productivity, efficiency, quality, and machine utilization.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in manufacturing/production operations and industrial automation, with practical knowledge of PLC-controlled machinery and production process troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor production processes, machine performance, productivity, and output.

• Identify and analyze production and machine-related problems that affect productivity and production continuity.

• Assist in troubleshooting PLC-controlled and automated production machinery.

• Analyze machine alarms, HMI indications, sensors, motors, VFDs, actuators, and other control-system components.

• Coordinate with the Maintenance and Production Teams in resolving machine and process problems.

• Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recurring machine, process, and production issues.

• *Analyze production downtime and recommend corrective and preventive actions.

• Monitor machine utilization, production efficiency, and other relevant production KPIs.

• Assist in improving production methods, machine settings, work processes, and operating procedures.

• Support the implementation of preventive and corrective actions to minimize machine downtime and production losses.

• Assist in evaluating machine and process performance and recommend improvements.

• Ensure production processes are followed consistently and efficiently.

• Prepare production, machine performance, downtime, and process-improvement reports.

• Assist in trials, testing, commissioning, modification, and improvement of production equipment and processes.

• Coordinate with Maintenance, Production, QA/QC, Warehouse, and other concerned departments regarding production-related concerns.

• Maintain proper documentation of process improvements, troubleshooting activities, and corrective actions.

• Perform other engineering and production-related duties as may be assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other related Engineering course.

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing or production engineering.

• Experience in food manufacturing is highly preferred.

• Practical experience in automated production machinery and industrial equipment.

• Experience in troubleshooting PLC-controlled machinery is highly preferred.

• Working knowledge of PLC, HMI, sensors, VFDs, motors, actuators, and industrial control systems.

• Ability to understand and interpret electrical, control, and equipment diagrams.

• Knowledge of Root Cause Analysis, preventive/corrective action, process improvement, and downtime analysis.

• Knowledge of production performance indicators such as OEE, machine utilization, productivity, and downtime is an advantage.

• Good analytical, problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.

• Willing to work in a manufacturing plant in Bulacan.

• Willing to work on a shifting schedule, when required.
