Job summary

AcBel Polytech (Phils.) Inc. in Calamba City, Laguna, invites a skilled Process Engineer to optimise manufacturing processes and drive efficiency.

You will lead Lean, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives across production lines, from Laser Marking to packaging, and collaborate with Quality and Production teams. The role requires a Bachelor's in Industrial Engineering with strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, plus experience in DOE, PFMEA, MSA, and SPC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in Process Engineering in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience using Process Control Plan, (PMP), DOE, PFMEA, MSA.
• Proficient in manufacturing and process engineering tools and techniques.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and optimize manufacturing processes to improve productivity, quality, efficiency, and cost.
• Monitor production processes and identify opportunities for process improvement and waste reduction.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Troubleshoot process-related problems and conduct root-cause analysis for quality and production issues.
• Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions for recurring process concerns.
• Review and improve process flow from Laser Marking, Component Preparation (Comp Prep), assembly, testing, up to packaging, as applicable.
• Develop, update, and maintain Work Instructions, Standard Operating Procedures and other process documentation.
• Verify process parameters and manufacturing requirements on production lines.
• Coordinate with Production and Quality teams regarding process deviations, defects, and improvement activities.
• Resolve IPQC, OQC and Customer issues.
• Support internal, customer, and system audits and ensure timely closure of audit findings (CAPA).
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis, 8D, PFMEA, SPC, and DOE to resolve process issues.
• Support in mass production, process validation, and engineering changes.
• Monitor and maintain accurate technical reports, process analysis, and improvement records.
• Prepare and present process improvement proposals, technical analyses, and performance reports.
• Participate in cross-functional problem-solving activities and continuous improvement projects.
• Ensure manufacturing processes comply with applicable quality, safety, and company standards.

What we’re looking for

• Experience in using process improvement and engineering tools such as Process Control Plan, (PMP), Design of Experiments (DOE), Process Failure Mode Analysis ( PFMEA), Measurement System Analysis (MSA).

• Proficient in manufacturing and process engineering tools and techniques.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and implement effective solutions.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
