Job summary

Landlite Philippines Corporation is seeking a Product Technical Engineer in Paranaque City, Metro Manila. This full-time role bridges product design, manufacturing, and customer needs, ensuring products meet high technical standards and customer expectations.

The engineer will coordinate with consultants, designers, and clients; handle product documentation; and support certification processes while contributing to a collaborative, growth-focused team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in EE or related field.
• 2–5 years in product tech engineering or related technical roles.
• Strong knowledge of electrical components, wiring design and testing methodologies.
• Experience using testing equipment: oscilloscopes, multimeters, power analysers.
• Familiarity with CAD software and schematic design tools.
• Understanding of IEC, ISO and UL standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates among consultants, designers and clients to understand needs and propose product recommendations.
• Acts as product expert on specifications, features, certifications, and assists Sales during client presentations.
• Prepares detailed technical documentation (specifications, test reports, user manuals).
• Identifies necessary product certifications or approvals for projects.
• Identifies products requiring certification with market potential.
• Liaises with customers to understand technical requirements and provide support.
• Supports planning with clients to recommend feasible product choices.
• Maintains records of testing procedures, results and certifications.

About the role

Landlite Philippines Corporation is seeking a Product Technical Engineer to join our team in Paranaque City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in the development, testing, and optimization of our products. As a Product Technical Engineer, you will serve as a bridge between product design, manufacturing, and customer needs, ensuring that our products meet the highest technical standards and customer expectations.

What you'll be doing

• Closely coordinates among consultants, designers, and clients to better understand their need and make product recommendations.
• Acts as product expert interms of product specification, features, certifications, etc. and assisting Sales team during client presentations.
• Prepares detailed technical documentation, including specifications, test reports, and user manuals
• Identifies necessary product certifications or approvals that are most likely used projects.
• Depending on market demand, identifies company products that requires certification, that show great potential
• Liaises with customers to understand technical requirements and provide technical support
• Extends support during planning stage with the client to make feasible recommendation of on suitable products.
• Maintains accurate records of testing procedures, results, and certifications and other changes in product featues.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline
• 2-5 years of professional experience in product tech engineering, electrical testing, or related technical roles
• Strong knowledge of electrical and electronic components, wiring design, and testing methodologies
• Proficiency in the use of various testing equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and power analysers
• Familiarity with CAD software and schematic design tools
• Understanding of relevant industry standards and safety regulations (e.g., IEC, ISO, UL)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Experience with product documentation and technical report writing
• Preferred: Experience with embedded systems, firmware testing, or product certification processes
