About the role

Net Pacific, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and experienced Field Engineer (Electrical Engineer) to join our team in Makati City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality electrical engineering solutions to our clients. As a Field Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing, installing, commissioning, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment at various project sites. This role is essential to ensuring that our projects meet technical specifications, safety standards, and client expectations. You will work both on-site and in the office, providing technical expertise and problem-solving capabilities that directly impact project success and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Install, commission, test, and troubleshoot electrical systems and equipment at project sites in accordance with design specifications and industry standards
• Conduct site inspections and assessments to identify electrical infrastructure requirements and potential technical challenges
• Prepare detailed technical reports and documentation including installation records, test results, and maintenance logs
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure timely project completion and adherence to technical requirements
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability
• Diagnose and resolve electrical faults and system malfunctions efficiently and safely
• Ensure compliance with all relevant electrical codes, safety regulations, and industry standards at all times
• Train and support site personnel on the proper operation and maintenance of electrical systems
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to source necessary electrical components and equipment
• Maintain detailed records of all field activities, materials used, and hours worked for project documentation

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent professional qualification
• Minimum 3-5 years of post-graduation experience in electrical engineering field work or installation projects
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical drawings, schematics, and technical specifications
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and equipment commonly used in industrial or commercial installations
• Competency with electrical testing and diagnostic equipment such as multimeters, power analysers, and insulation testers
• Thorough understanding of relevant electrical codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements in the Philippines
• Excellent problem-solving abilities with the capacity to troubleshoot complex electrical systems
• Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, contractors, and internal teams
• Physical fitness to work in various site conditions and perform tasks that may require climbing, lifting, and working at heights
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to multiple project sites as required
• Professional certifications such as a Licensed Electrical Engineer (LEE) or equivalent are highly desirable
• Experience with renewable energy systems, building automation, or power distribution systems is preferred
