Job summary

Primus @ Knowledge Specialist Inc. in the Philippines is hiring a Product Configuration Engineer (Pre Sales) to lead pre-sales planning and coordinate with the technical team to tailor solutions for customers.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical/Electronics and Communications, at least 1–2 years in telco, strong communication, and proficiency with Pivot, VLOOKUP, and automation. This position is fully onsite, Monday to Friday, with collaborative teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communications Engineering, or a related field.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• At least 1 - 2 years background in telco
• Proficient in Pivot, Vlookup, automation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic understanding and background for network engineer
• Team player and willing to work if necessary
• Work Schedule: Fully onsite Mon - Fri at 8:30 am - 6:00 pm

Responsibilities

• Identify key Customer’s technical requirements and provide solutions.
• Generate new and revised commercial proposal.
• Identify the Bill of Materials.
• Manage and coordinate responses for Request of Quotation.
• Received Purchased Order registration in the system; update customer on delivery status.
• Support in contract amendments in system for changes in solution.
• Support in closure of Contract/Purchased order delivered solution in internal system.
• Reconciliation of costing upon site implementation versus the purchased order as part of project closure.
• Unit Price List (UPL)/ Price Book maintenance and management for existing and large projects in the system.
• Support sales team in generating quarterly demand forecast.

Pre-sales Planning: Proactively engage and build a broad relationship with customers and simultaneously, coordinate with the technical team to make technical plans with customers. Performs pre-sales activities such including but not limited to,

- Identify key Customer’s technical requirements and provide solutions;

- Generate new and revised commercial proposal;

- Identify the Bill of Materials;

- Manage and coordinate responses for Request of Quotation.

Customer Management: Support post-sales activity including but not limited to,

- Received Purchased Order registration in the system;

- Update customer on delivery status;
