Job summary

A telecommunications company is seeking a full-time candidate to handle technical tasks including testing, commissioning, and installation. Ideal candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, with project management experience being an advantage. Applicants with a PRC license are preferred. The position requires working on-site in Makati, Philippines.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in a relevant field.
• Having a PRC license in ECE or EE is a plus.
• 1 to 3 years of working experience in telecommunications preferred.
• Project coordination/management experience is advantageous.
• Candidates who can start ASAP are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical tasks including testing, commissioning, installation.
• Conduct site surveys prior to project activities.
• Prepare budget requests based on site requirements.
• Prepares deployment documents and reports (Technical Site Survey Reports, Broadcast Reports, As-Built Plans, Floor Plans, Permits, Bills of Quantities).
• Prepares budget requests with client coordination.
• Coordinates on-site updates with Engineer II.
• Documents site work and collects data for client and supervisor submission.
• Identifies tools, equipment, vehicles, and logistics for site.
• Addresses client concerns regarding the project.
• Performs other ad hoc tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Job description

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Works on all the technical tasks assigned to him/her, which includes but may not be limited to Testing, Commissioning, Installation, and Project Acceptance
• Works with the Business Development team and coordinates with the client to meet the project’s needs and targets
• Conducts site surveys prior to the commencement of project activities
• Assists in and/or prepares all relevant documents and reports related to deployment, including but not limited to: Technical Site Survey Reports, Broadcast Reports, As-Built Plans, Floor Plan Layouts, Work Permits and Passes, and Bills of Quantities
• Prepares budget requests based on site requirements, in coordination with the client
• Coordinates all updates and changes occurring on-site with Engineer II
• Documents site work and collects necessary data for submission to both the client and the supervisor
• Identifies tools, equipment, vehicles, and other logistics required for the site
• Handles all concerns raised by the client regarding the project
• Other ad hoc functions and/or tasks (could be on a short or long term basis) that are considered substantial to the business of the company and as assigned by his/her immediate supervisor
