Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology, Medical Laboratory Science or closely related field.
• Registered Medical Technologist (RMT) preferred.
• At least 1 year of relevant clinical or industry experience in IVD, core lab instruments, product application, training, or diagnostic sales support.
• Clinical experience in hematology, clinical chemistry, immunology/serology, cited as advantageous.
• Willing to travel within Davao City and assigned areas.

Responsibilities

• Conduct product demonstrations, clinical presentations, and hands-on application training for healthcare professionals and laboratory personnel.
• Provide clinical and technical application support for IVD analyzers, core laboratory instruments, reagents, and related devices.
• Apply clinical knowledge to assist customers in product utilization, workflow integration, and interpretation of applications.
• Provide post-installation training, user support, and troubleshooting with Technical Service and internal teams.
• Gather customer feedback, competitor information, clinical insights, and market intelligence to support product strategies.
• Support product evaluations, trials, launches, training programs, and other lifecycle activities.

Product Application Specialist

IVD | Core Clinical Laboratory | Diagnostics | Medical Devices
Assigned Area: Davao City

Biosite Medical Instruments, Inc. is looking for a dynamic and customer-focused Product Application Specialist with clinical and/or industry experience in laboratory diagnostics, in-vitro diagnostics (IVD), core clinical laboratory products, and medical devices.

This role is ideal for Registered Medical Technologists (RMTs) and allied healthcare professionals who have gained hands‑on clinical laboratory experience and/or industry exposure in product application, technical support, customer training, product demonstration, or diagnostic sales support.

The successful candidate will serve as a key link between Biosite’s products and customers by providing clinical application expertise, product training, demonstrations, technical guidance, and post‑installation support across Davao City.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct product demonstrations, clinical presentations, product orientations, and hands‑on application training for healthcare professionals and laboratory personnel.

• Provide clinical and technical application support for IVD analyzers, core laboratory instruments, reagents, consumables, and related medical devices.

• Apply clinical laboratory knowledge to assist customers in proper product utilization, workflow integration, and interpretation of product applications.

• Provide post‑installation training, user support, and application‑related troubleshooting in coordination with Technical Service and other internal teams.

• Gather customer feedback, competitor information, clinical insights, and market intelligence to support product and business strategies.

• Support product evaluations, trials, launches, training programs, and other product life‑cycle activities.

• Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Technical Service, and Operations Teams to address customer requirements and strengthen product positioning.

• Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with applicable company, regulatory, and industry standards.

• Represent Biosite professionally during hospital and laboratory visits, product presentations, clinical discussions, and customer engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology, Medical Laboratory Science, or a closely related healthcare/science course.

• Registered Medical Technologist (RMT) is strongly preferred.

• At least 1 year of relevant clinical and/or industry experience, particularly in any of the following:

  • Clinical laboratory or hospital laboratory operations

  • In-vitro diagnostics (IVD)

  • Core clinical laboratory instruments and analyzers

  • Product application or clinical application support

  • Diagnostic product training and demonstrations

  • Technical support for laboratory or medical devices

  • Medical device or diagnostic sales support

• Clinical experience in hematology, clinical chemistry, immunology/serology, clinical microscopy, pathology, or other core laboratory sections is highly advantageous.

• Industry experience with diagnostic analyzers, reagents, laboratory equipment, medical devices, or healthcare products is an advantage.

• Strong communication, presentation, facilitation, and customer engagement skills.

• Able to translate clinical and technical concepts into practical product applications for customers and end‑users.

• Analytical, organized, customer-oriented, and comfortable working in both clinical and commercial environments.

• Must be willing to travel within Davao City and other assigned areas as required.
