Job summary

Firefly Electric and Lighting Corporation (FELCO) is seeking a Purchasing Associate to ensure quality acquisition and timely delivery within the assigned category, while delivering proactive service to internal and external customers. The role is based in Ermita, Manila, onsite, with a 5-day work week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any four-year business-related course.
• At least 1 year of related experience, preferably handling office supplies category.
• Oral and written communication skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders.
• Time Management skills to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and optimize productivity.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates with internal and external stakeholders for processing of purchase requests, canvassing, PO creation and goods receiving.
• Conducts sourcing, accreditation, and evaluation of vendors, including site inspections for quality and reliability.
• Manages petty cash transactions, where applicable, ensuring accuracy and adherence to financial protocols.
