Job summary

Firefly Electric and Lighting Corporation (FELCO) is seeking an Accounting Associate for the on-site Accounts Payable function in Ermita, Manila. You will process payment requests, ensure compliance with policies, and keep accurate financial records.

The role involves updating requesters on status, assisting with month-end close, supporting the Tax group, and maintaining document organization. This is a full-time, on-site position with a 5-day work week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Accountancy or related courses.
• Fresh graduates with internship experience in Accounts Payable.
• Familiar with SAP or similar ERP systems.
• Proficient in Excel and Google Sheets for data organization.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Analytical and detail-oriented with data accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Receive, validate and process payment requests per accounting policies.
• Record accurately and adjust discrepancies and errors.
• Provide updates on payment status and send documentation to recipients.
• Support Tax group with proper receipts and assist month-end/year-end closing.
• Organize and maintain financial documents and assist with admin tasks.
