Job summary

Vision International Construction OPC is seeking a procurement professional to source materials, equipment, and services for project sites and operations in the Philippines. You will manage supplier canvassing, quotations, and timely delivery, while maintaining accurate supplier records.

The role requires 2+ years in procurement, strong negotiation and communication skills, and proficiency in Excel. You will coordinate with multiple suppliers daily and ensure efficient office supplies processing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years of procurement experience.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and supplier management skills.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized.

Responsibilities

• Conduct local outsourcing and canvassing with at least three suppliers for price comparison.
• Coordinate with five to ten suppliers daily to obtain quotations and verify availability.
• Update and maintain product and supplier master list with pricing and specs.
• Source materials, equipment, and services for project sites and operations.
• Evaluate supplier quotations based on cost, quality, lead time, and terms.
• Build and maintain good relationships with suppliers and service providers.
• Monitor procurement requests to ensure timely processing and delivery of materials.
• Identify alternative suppliers and cost-saving opportunities.
• Maintain documentation of procurement transactions, quotations, and PO records.
• Process and monitor office supplies requests across departments for timely procurement.

About the role

This is a procurement role focused on sourcing materials, equipment, and services for project sites and operational needs. You will conduct local outsourcing and canvassing activities, manage supplier relationships, and ensure timely processing and delivery of required materials.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct local outsourcing and canvassing activities with at least three (3) suppliers for price comparison and evaluation
• Contact and coordinate with five (5) to ten (10) suppliers daily to obtain quotations, negotiate prices, and verify product availability
• Update and maintain the company's product and supplier master list, ensuring accuracy of pricing, specifications, and supplier information
• Source materials, equipment, and services required for project sites and operational needs
• Prepare and evaluate supplier quotations based on cost, quality, lead time, and delivery terms
• Establish and maintain good working relationships with suppliers and service providers
• Monitor procurement requests and ensure timely processing and delivery of required materials
• Assist in identifying alternative suppliers and cost-saving procurement opportunities
• Maintain proper documentation of procurement transactions, quotations, purchase orders, and supplier records
• Process and monitor office supplies requests from various departments, ensuring timely procurement and distribution of approved items

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field
• At least two (2) years of experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing, or a related function
• Strong negotiation, communication, and supplier management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
• Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously
