5+ years of experience in ocean freight procurement with established carrier contacts across Southeast Asia.
Strong negotiation skills and solid knowledge of FCL, FAK, NAC, and spot rates.
Good understanding of Southeast Asian trade patterns and market dynamics.
Able to manage multiple lanes and respond quickly to rate inquiries.
Comfortable working with BPO/back-office teams and rate management systems.
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a multi-country environment.
Source and negotiate competitive ocean freight rates with carriers, NVOCCs, and co-loaders.
Manage rate inquiries and provide fast turnaround for SEA offices, clients, overseas agents, and group companies.
Build and maintain strong relationships with ocean carriers and co-loaders across Southeast Asia.
Monitor freight rates, capacity, and market trends to support procurement decisions.
Coordinate with the Hong Kong procurement team on Europe and Transpacific trade lanes.
Work closely with the Philippines-based BPO team to maintain accurate rates and procurement data.
Support volume consolidation, carrier allocation, and cost-saving initiatives.
