Agile Beyond Inc. is seeking a Procurement Manager – Southeast Asia (Ocean Freight) based in the Philippines.

You will drive ocean freight procurement across SEA, focusing on securing competitive rates, carrier support, and cost-effective solutions for intra-Asia and world-wide destinations. With 5+ years of ocean freight experience, you will negotiate with carriers, manage rate inquiries, and cooperate closely with SEA offices and BPO teams to ensure accurate data and timely responses.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in ocean freight procurement across SEA.
• Strong negotiation and carrier liaison capabilities.
• Solid knowledge of FCL, FAK, NAC, and spot rates.
• Ability to work across multi-country environments and coordinate SEA lanes.

Responsibilities

• Source and negotiate competitive ocean freight rates with carriers and co-loaders.
• Manage rate inquiries with SEA offices, clients, and overseas agents.
• Build and maintain relationships with carriers across Southeast Asia.
• Monitor freight rates, capacity, and market trends for procurement decisions.
• Coordinate with the Hong Kong procurement team on Europe and Transpacific lanes.
• Work with the PH-based BPO team to keep rates accurate and up-to-date.
• Support volume consolidation and cost-saving initiatives.

About the role

An experienced Procurement Manager – Southeast Asia (Ocean Freight) to drive ocean freight procurement across Southeast Asia. The role focuses on securing competitive rates, carrier support, and cost-effective solutions for Intra-Asia and export lanes from Southeast Asia to worldwide destinations.

• WFH -ONLY 1 DAY office reporting per week

About you

• 5+ years of experience in ocean freight procurement with established carrier contacts across Southeast Asia.
• Strong negotiation skills and solid knowledge of FCL, FAK, NAC, and spot rates.
• Good understanding of Southeast Asian trade patterns and market dynamics.
• Able to manage multiple lanes and respond quickly to rate inquiries.
• Comfortable working with BPO/back-office teams and rate management systems.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a multi-country environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage rate inquiries and provide fast turnaround for SEA offices, clients, overseas agents, and group companies.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with ocean carriers and co-loaders across Southeast Asia.
• Monitor freight rates, capacity, and market trends to support procurement decisions.
• Coordinate with the Hong Kong procurement team on Europe and Transpacific trade lanes.
• Work closely with the Philippines-based BPO team to maintain accurate rates and procurement data.
• Support volume consolidation, carrier allocation, and cost-saving initiatives.
