Job summary

Agile Beyond Inc. is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager for Southeast Asia (Ocean Freight) to drive SEA freight procurement and secure competitive rates for intra-Asia and global exports.

The role emphasizes carrier support, rate management, and cost-effective solutions across multiple lanes. You will collaborate with SEA offices, overseas agents, and a Philippines-based BPO team while coordinating with the Hong Kong team on Europe and Transpacific lanes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in ocean freight procurement with carrier contacts in SEA.
• Strong negotiation skills and knowledge of FCL, FAK, NAC, and spot rates.
• Understanding of Southeast Asian trade patterns and market dynamics.
• Ability to manage multiple lanes and respond quickly to rate inquiries.
• Experience working with BPO/back-office teams and rate management systems.
• Excellent communication and ability to work independently across countries.

Responsibilities

• Source and negotiate competitive ocean freight rates with carriers, NVOCCs, and co-loaders.
• Manage rate inquiries and provide fast turnaround for SEA offices, clients, overseas agents, and group companies.
• Build and maintain relationships with ocean carriers across Southeast Asia.
• Monitor freight rates, capacity, and market trends to support procurement decisions.
• Coordinate with the Hong Kong procurement team on Europe and Transpacific trade lanes.
• Collaborate with the Philippines-based BPO team to maintain accurate rates and data.
• Support volume consolidation, carrier allocation, and cost-saving initiatives.
