As a Procurement Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the company obtains high-quality products and services at the best value. You will lead supplier negotiations, optimize purchasing processes, reduce costs, and help improve supply chain performance across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial terms with suppliers to secure the best value.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and manufacturers.
- Evaluate supplier performance and ensure high service standards are maintained.
- Identify and onboard new suppliers that can provide better quality, pricing, or innovation.
- Conduct regular supplier reviews and recommend improvements.
Procurement & Contract Management
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Standardize purchasing practices to improve efficiency and consistency.
- Negotiate and manage long-term supplier contracts and agreements.
- Monitor contract renewals and ensure favorable terms are maintained.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.
Cost Savings & Business Improvement
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies that reduce costs and increase profitability.
- Identify opportunities for savings through supplier negotiations and process improvements.
- Analyze purchasing trends, discounts, and supplier performance to support business decisions.
- Partner with operations teams to improve supply chain efficiency and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Inventory & Supply Chain Optimization
- Support the implementation of inventory management best practices.
- Optimize stock levels, ordering processes, and logistics activities to improve efficiency.
- Reduce lead times and improve product availability across sites.
- Work closely with operational teams to maximize asset utilization.
Reporting & Stakeholder Management
- Prepare reports on purchasing performance, supplier trends, and savings initiatives.
- Work closely with senior management, finance, and operations teams to achieve business objectives.
- Monitor procurement KPIs and recommend strategies for improvement.
- Ensure rebate programs, incentives, and supplier agreements are properly managed and tracked.
