Job summary

KMZD GROUP in Metro Manila is seeking a Procurement Manager to oversee MSPS sourcing of non-productive and indirect materials, office supplies, construction, services, and other division requirements. You will drive cost-reduction through resourcing and negotiation to strengthen profitability and market competitiveness.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree required.
• At least 10 years of experience in Procurement, Canvassing, Sourcing of Goods & Services.
• Experience as a Procurement Buyer Manager or similar role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead MSPS sourcing for non-productive and indirect materials, office supplies, construction, and services across divisions.
• Drive cost reduction through resourcing and commercial negotiation to improve profitability and market competitiveness.
• Select and assess suppliers and service providers; drive accreditation.
• Perform initial supplier capability assessments per S-QCDEM requirements before accreditation.
• Monitor supplier performance and initiate corrective actions for delivery/quality issues.
• Source capable and reliable NPIP materials; manage procurement and subcontracting processes.
• Oversee contract procurement, quality, governance, and auditability of procurement activities.
• Review and approve PO/BPO and quotation analyses; implement purchasing policies.
• Negotiate supplier contracts and develop procurement policies.

About the role

The Procurement Manager is responsible for MSPS sourcing activities of non-productive and indirect material, office supplies, construction, services, and other requirements of all Divisions. This role involves initiating cost reduction activities through resourcing and commercial negotiation to reduce vehicle costs and contribute to company profitability and cost competitiveness in the market.

Key responsibilities

• Responsible for MSPS sourcing activities of non-productive / indirect material, office supplies, construction, services, and other requirements of all Divisions
• Initiate Cost Reduction activities through resourcing, commercial negotiation, thereby reducing the vehicle cost to contribute to the improvement of company profitability and cost competitiveness in the market
• Supplier & service provider selection & accreditation
• Initial assessment of suppliers' capability in compliance with S-QCDEM requirements before accreditation of MMPC
• Review suppliers' performance and take necessary corrective action on suppliers that need improvement in delivery and quality aspects
• Responsible for the sourcing of capable and reliable suppliers for materials intended for non‑productive and indirect parts (NPIP)
• Responsible for the provision of procurement, sub‑contracting and services for the contract; responsible for the quality, auditability and governance of the overall procurement and sub‑contracting process
• Review and approval of PO, BPO, and Quotation Analysis
• Develop/improve and implement purchasing policies and procedures
• Negotiate contracts and formulate policies with suppliers

About you

• Graduate of any Engineering course
• Has exposure as a Procurement Buyer Manager
• At least 10 years of experience in Procurement, Canvassing, Sourcing of Goods & Services
