Job summary

Technical Education and Skills Development Authority CARAGA Region - Government is seeking a Procurement Assistant to oversee price monitoring, RFQ postings on PhilGEPS, and evaluation of quotations for abstracts. The role includes supervising PO/J0 preparation and ensuring APP alignment.

The candidate will prepare communications, policies, and guidelines for the Procurement Division, conduct orientations on new procedures, and ensure integrity of Procurement Monitoring Reports.

Qualifications

• Intends to join Procurement Division with skills in planning, M&E and negotiation.
• Demonstrates strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to conduct orientation sessions and implement new procedures.

Responsibilities

• Oversees ABC determination through price monitoring, RFQ posting on PhilGEPS, and reviews quotations for Abstract preparation.
• Supervises preparation of POs/JOs, ensures accuracy, and reviews Requisitions/PR for APP alignment.
• Prepares communications, reports, analyses, policies and guidelines for the Procurement Division.
• Conducts orientations and calibration sessions to explain new operating procedures.
• Supervises preparation of the Procurement Monitoring Report for accuracy and completeness.
• Checks completeness and validity of documents submitted by the supplier with the lowest quotation.
• Performs other related functions as required.
