Job summary

Elevance Health is seeking a Process Improvement Specialist-2 to identify and manage process improvement initiatives across the account using Lean Six Sigma, RCA, and related tools. You will act as a business partner to champion bottlenecks and drive transformation through automation, RPA, and AI.

The role focuses on supporting Continuous Improvement programs, mapping current processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve strategic objectives and KPIs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years related experience or an equivalent education/experience background.
• Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certified.
• Experience in Business Process Outsourcing and Shared Services Operations preferred.

Responsibilities

Job Description

The Process Improvement Specialist will be responsible for identifying and managing process improvement and reengineering initiatives across the account. Role entails leveraging Lean / Lean Six Sigma / RCA techniques and tools to identify areas / steps of business processes that can be improved or automated. The person will be an individual contributor and will work closely with business teams in identifying / evaluating opportunities for transformation and innovation. Responsible in leading Continuous Improvement Programs across various functions. The candidate will serve as the Business Partner by championing the identification of process bottlenecks and variations through Lean Six Sigma methodology and tools. Responsible in supporting assigned Operations Tower on different process improvement and automation projects (track results of the initiatives/KPIs, etc.). Leverage Lean Methodology to identify wastes in the process and drive process initiatives. Analyze current process standards and metrics to provide solutions for improvements focusing on strategic objective and key measurements. Conduct process observation and process mapping activities to identify opportunities and ideas that will drive process automation, transformation, RPA and AI. Requirements for the role are: Graduate of BA/BS in a related field of study. Minimum of 3 years related experience or a combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background. Lean Six Sigma Yellowbelt Certified. Demonstrate ability to analyze existing and potential workflows, processes, supporting systems, and procedures and identifying improvements strongly preferred and Has Experience in working on Business, Process Outsourcing and Shared Services Operations
