Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Typically 10–15 years of multidisciplinary engineering consultancy experience.
• Experience delivering large-scale projects, ideally including data centres or critical facilities.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems design (LV, lighting, fire detection, earthing, lightning protection, ELV).
• Experience with MV power system studies (load flow, short circuit, coordination).
• Solid understanding of British Standards, IEC Standards and relevant regulations.
• Proficiency with ETAP, Amtech, Dialux or equivalent design tools.
• Experience leading project teams and coordinating multidisciplinary activities.
• Strong communication skills for client, contractor and colleague engagement.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Typically 10–15 years of experience within a multidisciplinary engineering consultancy environment.
• Experience delivering large-scale projects, ideally including data centres or other mission-critical facilities.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems design, including LV power systems, lighting, fire detection, earthing and lightning protection, and ELV systems.
• Experience undertaking MV power system studies, including load flow, short circuit, selectivity and coordination analysis.
• Good understanding of British Standards, IEC Standards and relevant industry regulations.
• Proficiency with electrical engineering software such as ETAP, Amtech, Dialux or equivalent design tools.
• Experience leading project teams, coordinating multidisciplinary activities and managing project delivery.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with clients, contractors and colleagues.
