Job summary

Microgenesis is seeking a Solutions Engineer/Systems Design Integration (SDI) Engineer to work with customers, understand their technical needs, and provide tailored solutions that align with our offerings. The role requires strong technical acumen, business sense, and clear communication.

Responsibilities include collaborating with Sales and BTSG/TSD teams, delivering technical presentations, designing networks, and developing PoCs to demonstrate value throughout the sales cycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electronics and Communications Engineering or related field of study.
• At least 1 year experience in a solutions engineering, pre-sales engineering, or similar role.
• Strong technical background with hands-on experience in relevant technologies and platforms (e.g., Firewall, Switches, Wireless, Load Balancers, Web Application Firewall, Endpoint Detection & Response, Servers and Storage, Hyperconverged Infrastructure, etc.).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically about customer needs and solutions.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Sales to identify and qualify opportunities, understand customer requirements, and propose effective solutions.
• Create tailored fit Bills of Materials for every project in coordination with BSMs, Distributors, and Principals.
• Conduct detailed technical presentations and demonstrations to showcase capabilities and benefits.
• Develop Network Design/Architecture based on customer requirements.
• Deliver proof-of-concept projects to demonstrate feasibility and value of proposed solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and support throughout the sales cycle, including RFPs, RFIs, and inquiries.
