Job summary

Phil-Data Business Systems, Inc. seeks a Pre-Sales Engineer to support the Product Manager and Sales Team with technical business-consulting for internal and external customers.

The role provides pre-sales consulting on servers, storage and management tools, translating customer requirements into technical specifications to recommend and position solutions. This is an onsite role based in Makati with 1–2 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree , Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent.
• At least 1-2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Possesses good communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Ability to demonstrate and conduct proof-of-concept activities with customers.
• Willing to work in Makati (Full-time Onsite)

Responsibilities

• Supports the Product Manager and Sales Team by providing technical business-consulting advice to both internal and external customers.
• Provides Pre-sales technical consulting on Enterprise technologies and service capabilities primarily on Servers, Storage and Server Management Tools.
• Understands and translates customer technical, business and financial requirements into technical requirements to recommend and position Server, Storage and Management tools.
• Creates technical requirements and helps shape the customer's technical landscape.
• Collaborates with sales to articulate and tailor solutions to meet customer needs.

The Pre-Sales Engineer supports the Product Manager and the Sales Team by providing technical business-consulting advice to both internal and external customers. Responsible for providing Pre-sales technical consulting on Enterprise technologies and service capabilities primarily on Servers, Storage and Server Management Tools. Primarily responsible for understanding and identifying (even near-future unforeseen requirements of) the customer's technical, business and financial requirements and translating these to technical requirements in order to recommend and position the Server, Storage and Management tools to address these. Thus, the Pre-Sales role not only answers but also creates the technical requirements of the Customer.

Requirements:
