Job summary

8x8 seeks an Associate Engagement Manager within Professional Services to drive pre-sales support and solution selling for our Communications portfolio. You will interact with management levels to translate client requirements into actionable PS deliverables, pricing, and statements of work.

You will partner with Sales, lead pre-sales planning, and provide accurate monthly bookings forecasts while guiding PS consultants and expanding client relationships globally.

Qualifications

• Degree in a technical or business discipline.
• 1–4 years' experience in selling and delivering consulting services with leadership in engagements over $250k/quarter.
• Knowledge in Voice, Video, UC, Contact Center, VoIP, or AI Agents.
• Understanding of enterprise customer communications requirements.
• Experience in developing proposals and statements of work.

Responsibilities

• Lead scoping, planning, cost estimating, and pricing of PS projects with SOW development and risk assessment.
• Build relationships with Sales to drive new customer acquisition, upsell, and retention.
• Identify sales opportunities and lead PS pre-sales planning and bid reviews.
• Provide monthly forecasts of Professional Services bookings.
• Oversee project portfolio engagement and manage client stakeholder relationships.
• Coach PS delivery consultants and transfer industry/product knowledge.
• Stay current on 8x8 services, offerings, and competitors.
