Job summary

We Connect HR Solutions OPC seeks an experienced Farm Operations Manager to supervise poultry houses, dressing plant, and cold-chain facilities in a multi-client processing setup in Cebu. The role emphasizes leadership, bio-security, and compliance with HACCP, GMP, and local regulations, with a focus on cost control and quality.

You will supervise production schedules, manage live poultry inventory, and coordinate with logistics to ensure timely shipment while maintaining safety and process

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in agriculture/animal science, food technology, engineering, or business management preferred.
• 3–5 years of progressive management experience in poultry operations; toll processing or contract manufacturing is a plus.
• Deep understanding of live poultry management and food safety systems (HACCP, GMP).
• Hands-on experience or certification in industrial refrigeration maintenance and operations.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented and committed to safe, legal, quality food products.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily poultry operations including housing conditions, feed, and water quality.
• Plan and coordinate dressing plant processing to meet volume, yield, and client specs.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, SOOP and local health regulations.
• Manage refrigeration, cold chain, and facilities maintenance (ammonia or Freon systems).
• Develop budgets, monitor production data, and drive cost-saving opportunities.
• Lead and develop department managers and frontline staff with a focus on safety and continuous improvement.
