Job summary

SMC Integrated Farm Specialist Inc. is seeking a Quality Control Supervisor to lead the QC department at the poultry dressing plant. You will implement and maintain QMS, FSMS, GMP, SSOP, and HACCP, ensuring products meet customer specs and regulatory standards.

The role requires 2+ years supervisory experience, knowledge of poultry processing, SAP, and strong analytical skills. Travel across the country may be required; leadership and training duties are included.

Qualifications

• Educational Background: Graduate of any 4–5 years course in Engineering is an advantage but not required, Food Technology or related field.
• Work Experience: At least two years of supervisory or managerial experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, monitor, and continuously improve the plant's Quality Control and Food Safety Management Systems.
• Ensure compliance with customer product standards, product specifications, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead GMP, SSOP, HACCP, and related food safety and quality programs across the facility.
• Supervise QC team to ensure accurate inspections, testing, monitoring, and documentation.
• Monitor quality throughout all poultry processing stages from receiving to dispatch.
• Coordinate product inspections, laboratory testing, environmental monitoring, and verification activities.
• Investigate quality issues, customer complaints, deviations, and implement CAPA.
• Analyze quality performance data and prepare reports for management.
• Coordinate internal audits, regulatory inspections, and third-party audits.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, Warehouse, and Supply Chain teams to improve quality and efficiency.
• Conduct quality and food safety training programs for employees.
• Promote a safe working environment and enforce company policies.
