Position: Food Processing Plant Supervisor

Reports to: Management

Reporting to: Monday to Saturday (8:00 am-5:00 pm)

About the role

Golden Richland Farm Corporation is seeking a dedicated and experienced Food Processing Plant Supervisor to join our operations team in San Mateo, Isabela. This is a full-time position that plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth, efficient, quality, and compliant operation of our food processing facility. As supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily production activities, managing plant personnel, and maintaining the highest standards of food safety and quality. This position is essential to our commitment to delivering premium food products whilst maintaining operational excellence and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily food processing operations, ensuring production targets are met on schedule and within budget parameters

• Supervise and manage plant staff, including training, scheduling, performance management and disciplinary actions as required

• Track production metrics, maintain detailed records and generate reports on output, quality issues and operational performance

• Monitor and maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations, hygiene standards and quality control procedures throughout the production process

• Conduct regular inspections of equipment, machinery and production areas to identify maintenance needs and potential safety hazards

• Implement preventative maintenance programmes and coordinate with maintenance teams to minimise downtime

• Ensure compliance with all relevant food safety legislation, environmental regulations and company policies

• Investigate and resolve production issues, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence

• Optimise production processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste and enhance product quality

• Communicate effectively with management, quality assurance teams and other departments to support plant objectives

• Maintain a safe and disciplined working environment by promoting a strong safety culture, enforcing workplace safety procedures, and conducting regular toolbox meetings and safety briefings

What we’re looking for

• Can operate the plant and team with malasakit, honesty and integrity

• Proven supervisory or team lead experience in food processing, manufacturing or production environments

• Demonstrated expertise in production planning, scheduling and process optimisation

• Excellent leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members

• Understands the operation of equipment and basic maintenance procedures used in food processing facilities

• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing operational challenges

• Strong knowledge of food safety standards, HACCP principles and relevant food processing regulations

• Excellent organisational and time management skills with attention to detail

• Proficiency in using computer systems and production management software

• Formal qualifications in food processing, production management or supervisory training are highly desirable
