Qualifications

• Proven experience as a butcher or chicken cutter in retail or food service.
• Strong meat cutting and poultry preparation skills.
• Excellent knife skills and proficiency with cutting tools.
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and HACCP principles.
• Ability to work precisely and maintain high quality and presentation.
• Physical capability to perform repetitive tasks in a cool environment.
• Reliable, punctual and team player.
• Good communication and customer service awareness.
• Food handling certification or willingness to obtain one.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and cut chicken and poultry products according to specs.
• Portion and trim meat to precise weights and cuts.
• Maintain and sanitise cutting equipment in safety-compliant conditions.
• Display and merchandise poultry products attractively.
• Label products with accurate pricing, weights and information.
• Monitor inventory and flag stock shortages to management.
• Follow strict food safety, hygiene and sanitation protocols.
• Assist with stock rotation (FIFO) and promotions.
• Communicate with team and management about product quality and customer requests.
