Qualifications

• Experience as a butcher or chicken cutter or similar poultry role.
• Knowledge of butchering techniques and poultry cuts.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Ability to use knives and cutting machinery safely.
• Attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
• Physical ability for repetitive cutting and lifting.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable, punctual and professional.
• Flexible to varying work schedules.
• Retail or merchandising experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Expertly cut, trim, and portion chicken and poultry products.
• Maintain food safety and hygiene standards per regulations.
• Display and merchandise poultry to maximize sales appeal.
• Monitor freshness and remove items not meeting quality.
• Operate butchering equipment safely (knives, saws, etc.).
• Weigh and price products using POS and scales.
• Assist customers with product selection and prep methods.
• Keep a clean, organized station with proper stock rotation.
• Collaborate with team for smooth daily operations.
• Follow inventory and waste-reduction policies.
