MKS WORKFORCE MANAGEMENT SERVICES INC is seeking a skilled Merchandiser/Chicken Cutter (Butcher) for our Canlubang, Calamba City location in Laguna. The role focuses on preparing, processing, and presenting poultry to high standards while ensuring food safety compliance and maintaining attractive retail displays.

You will handle cutting, packaging, labeling, inventory, and customer inquiries, contributing to product quality, safety, and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as a butcher or chicken cutter in a retail setting.
• Knowledge of cuts, portioning, and presentation.
• Ability to use meat processing equipment safely.
• Familiar with food safety guidelines (HACCP).
• Physical stamina for standing and lifting.
• Willingness to obtain or maintain food handling certification.

Responsibilities

• Professionally cut, trim, and portion chicken and poultry according to standards.
• Prepare and package meat products using proper handling techniques.
• Maintain accurate weights and pricing per retail guidelines.
• Keep work areas and tools clean and safe.
• Rotate stock using FIFO to ensure freshness.
• Display poultry attractively in refrigerated cases.
• Maintain inventory records and monitor waste.
• Follow food safety regulations and company policies.
• Assist customers with product selection and prep methods.
• Report quality issues to management promptly.
