Job summary

Link Business Process Inc. is seeking a Field Engineer to perform on-site installation, reprogramming and troubleshooting of POS devices. The role involves customer education, merchant orientation, and accurate reporting of activities to ensure SLA compliance.

The candidate should have an engineering/technical degree, 2–3 years in financial or customer service sectors, strong English skills, and own a motorcycle for field work. Weekend/holiday shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Engineering/Technical degree required.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in financial and/or customer service industries.
• Proficient in English (written and verbal).
• Has motorcycle for field work activities.

Responsibilities

• On-site installation, reprogramming and troubleshooting of POS devices (software/hardware).
• Provide clear evaluation of issues and explain actions needed for resolution.
• Conduct merchant orientation for proper use and operation of devices and payment processing scope.
• Prepare complete Engineers Activity Report per servicing.
• Ensure accurate SLA delivery by daily activity management.
• Conduct random device inspections for proper usage.
• Responsible for POS device pull-out and replacement.
• Collate merchant feedback and escalate to boost merchant satisfaction.
• Other duties may be assigned.
