Job summary

Link Business Process Inc. is seeking a Field Engineer to support on-site operations within Merchant Services – Operations. The role involves hands-on service including installation, reprogramming and repair of POS devices, ensuring reliable device performance at merchant sites.

You will educate merchants, document service activity, and maintain SLA targets through effective daily planning. The job requires travel on-site with a motorcycle, strong English communication, and teamwork to resolve

Qualifications

College graduate preferably Engineering or Technical course.
Minimum of 2-3 years relevant experience in financial and/or customer service industries.
Proficient in English, written and verbal.
Has motorcycle for field work activities.

Responsibilities

On-site installation, reprogramming and troubleshooting of POS devices (hardware and software).
Provide clear evaluation of issues and explain resolution steps to merchants.
Conduct merchant orientation for proper device usage and payment processing scope.
Prepare Engineers Activity Report after servicing.
Ensure SLA delivery through strategic daily activity handling.
Conduct random device inspections to ensure proper usage.
Responsible for POS device pull-out and replacement.
Collect merchant feedback and escalate to the proper team to boost satisfaction.
