Job summary
Link Business Process Inc. in the Philippines is seeking a Field Engineer to join the Device Management team within Merchant Services – Operations. You will handle on-site installation, reprogramming and troubleshooting of POS devices, and support project planning and device inspection.
The ideal candidate has 2–3 years in financial or customer service industries, is proficient in English, and owns a motorcycle for field work. This role requires weekend and shift flexibility to meet client needs.
Qualifications
- College graduate preferably Engineering or Technical course.
- Minimum of 2-3 years relevant experience in the financial and/or customer service industry.
- Proficient in English both written and verbal communication.
- Has motorcycle for field work activities.
Responsibilities
- On-site installation, reprogramming and troubleshooting of POS devices.
- Provide clear evaluation of issues and explain resolution steps.
- Conduct merchant orientation on device use and payment processing scope.
- Prepare Engineers Activity Report per servicing.
- Ensure SLA delivery by daily activity management.
- Conduct random device inspections at merchants.
- Responsible for POS device pull-out and replacement.
- Collate merchant feedback and escalate for merchant satisfaction.
- Other duties as assigned.
