Job summary

GCash in the Philippines is seeking a data- and credit-risk focused professional to review loan portfolios, build dashboards, and help shape credit policy. You will leverage SQL and Python to monitor portfolio quality and develop actionable insights across product, finance, and operations.

You will design analyses for credit policy development, conduct stress testing, and contribute to risk mitigation strategies to support business goals while maintaining portfolio quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field.
• Strong SQL, Python, and data analytics skills.
• Knowledge of credit risk and collections principles.

Responsibilities

• Review loan portfolio and model quality.
• Plan and maintain reports and dashboards to support reviews.
• Design analyses for credit policy development on eligibility, line management, profitability, losses & write-offs, potential fraud.
• Document policies for management notification and approval and ensure implementation of approved policies.
• Prepare financial projections, sensitivity analysis, and stress testing on the loan portfolio.
• Identify and elevate risks, as needed.
• Interface with business/product, collections, finance, and modelling teams to drive decisions.
