GCash seeks a data analytics professional to strengthen loan risk review processes. You will review portfolio quality, build reports, and collaborate with product, collections, and finance to drive credit decisions.

The role requires strong SQL, Python, and data management skills, with solid knowledge of credit risk and collections. You will design analyses, automate reports, and support policy development.

Overall Duties and Responsibilities

• Review loan portfolio & model quality consistently.
• Plan, oversee & maintain reports and dashboards to support said reviews.
• Design & conduct analyses/investigations for credit policy development on matters such as: eligibility, line management, profitability, losses & write-offs, potential fraud.
• Document policies for management notification & approval and ensure implementation of approved policies.
• Prepare financial projections, sensitivity analysis, and stress testing on the portfolio of the loan product assigned.
• Proactively identify and elevate risks, as needed.
• Interface with business/product, collections, finance, & modelling teams, as well as management & partners to drive key decisions

Displays

• Knowledge of credit risk and collections principles and data analytics to influence data driven decisions in managing portfolio quality
• Advance SQL and data management skills
• Adept in Python for modeling and automation

Delivers

• Identify potential issues in the portfolio and engage necessary parties to minimize impact
• Recommend strategies/actions to support business goals while ensuring portfolio quality is maintained
• Generate credit risk and collections reports to monitor portfolio quality
• Interpret reports and recommend actions to improve portfolio quality
• Automate reports and processes
• Perform ad hoc analysis as required

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Physics, Finance, or a related quantitative field.
• Strong technical skills in SQL, Python, and data management/analytics tools.
• Solid knowledge of Credit Risk, Collections principles, and data-driven decision frameworks.
