Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Environmental Science, Engineering, Chemistry, OSH, or related field.
• DENR-EMB PCO qualification/accreditation and DOLE-recognized Safety Officer qualification/training are required as applicable.
• 3–5 years of relevant EHS/manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience with chemical handling/refilling, PET/plastics manufacturing, injection molding, hazardous waste, and industrial safety is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of environmental compliance, OSH, HIRA, incident investigation, emergency response, and regulatory documentation.
• Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and enforcement skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure environmental compliance with DENR-EMB requirements, permits, and reporting.
• Monitor hazardous waste, wastewater, air emissions, chemicals, solid waste, and pollution-control activities.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, treatment, and disposal of hazardous and regulated wastes.
• Conduct environmental inspections and investigate spills, releases, and environmental incidents.
• Maintain environmental records and regulatory documentation.
• Coordinate with DENR-EMB, laboratories, waste contractors, and environmental service providers.
• Recommend pollution-prevention and environmental improvement initiatives.
• Implement and monitor the company's Occupational Safety and Health Program.
• Conduct workplace hazard identification, risk assessment, and safety inspections.
• Monitor safety controls for chemical handling, machinery, injection molding, PET manufacturing, maintenance, electrical work, fire, and emergency situations.

About the role

Responsible for ensuring the Company's environmental compliance, occupational safety, and health standards across chemical refilling, PET bottle manufacturing, and other plant operations. About you
