Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in any course is required.
  • Certified Safety Officer certification is required.
  • DENR-accredited Pollution Control Officer (PCO) certification is required.
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in safety, health, and environmental management.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve the OSH program.
  • Conduct safety inspections, hazard identification, risk assessments (HIRAC), and recommend corrective actions.
  • Investigate workplace accidents, incidents, and near misses, and ensure proper documentation and follow-up actions.
  • Conduct safety orientations, toolbox meetings, emergency preparedness training, and other OSH-related programs.
  • Monitor compliance with the proper use of PPE, machine guarding, housekeeping, and safe work practices.
  • Prepare and submit mandatory OSH reports and documentation required by DOLE and other regulatory agencies.
  • Serve as the Secretary of the Safety and Health Committee.
  • Monitor contractor compliance with the company's safety policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate safety records, statistics, permits, and legal compliance documents.
  • Recommend and implement continuous improvements to enhance workplace safety and health performance.
  • Ensure the company's compliance with all applicable environmental laws, DENR regulations, permits, and licenses.
  • Prepare and submit all required environmental reports, including the SMR, CMR, Hazardous Waste reports, and other regulatory submissions.
  • Monitor hazardous waste management, wastewater treatment, air emissions, pollution control facilities, and waste disposal activities.
  • Coordinate environmental monitoring, laboratory testing, and compliance activities with accredited service providers.
  • Maintain environmental permits, records, and documentation required by regulatory agencies.
  • Coordinate with DENR-EMB and other government agencies during inspections, audits, and compliance monitoring.
  • Conduct environmental awareness and compliance training for employees.
  • Promote waste minimization, pollution prevention, and sustainable environmental practices throughout the organization.
  • Recommend improvements to enhance the company's environmental performance and regulatory compliance.

  • Coordinate environmental monitoring, laboratory testing, and compliance activities with accredited service providers.
  • Maintain environmental permits, records, and documentation required by regulatory agencies.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in any course.
  • Certified Safety Officer.
  • Must be a DENR-accredited Pollution Control Officer (PCO).
  • At least 2-3 years of relevant experience in occupational safety, health, and environmental management, preferably in food manufacturing or pharmaceutical company.
  • Knowledgeable in Occupational Safety and Health Standards, RA 11058 DO 252-25, DOLE regulations, DENR environmental regulations, hazardous waste management, and environmental compliance requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Control (HIRAC), incident investigation, emergency preparedness, and regulatory compliance.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and report preparation.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work independently and coordinate effectively with different departments and government regulatory agencies.
