We are looking for a Pollution Control Officer (PCO) who will be responsible for ensuring the company's compliance with applicable environmental laws, regulations, permits, and standards. The role will oversee environmental monitoring, regulatory reporting, documentation, and coordination with government agencies while supporting a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible workplace.
Ensure compliance with applicable DENR/EMB, LGU, and other environmental regulations and requirements.
Monitor and implement the company's environmental compliance programs and initiatives.
Conduct regular environmental inspections, monitoring, and assessments.
Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous waste.
Prepare and submit required environmental reports, permits, and compliance documents to government agencies.
Maintain accurate and updated environmental records and documentation.
Coordinate with DENR/EMB, LGU, and other regulatory agencies regarding permits, inspections, reports, and compliance matters.
Monitor compliance with environmental permits and applicable regulatory standards.
Assist in identifying environmental risks and implementing appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
Coordinate with other departments on environmental and occupational safety concerns.
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
DENR-accredited Pollution Control Officer (PCO) or qualified to meet applicable PCO requirements.
With relevant Safety Officer Training (SO2/SO3) is an advantage.
Preferably with experience in environmental compliance, waste management, occupational safety, or regulatory compliance.
Knowledgeable in DENR/EMB, DOLE, and other applicable environmental and occupational health and safety regulations.
Strong reporting, documentation, coordination, and organizational skills.
Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple compliance requirements and deadlines.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to work independently and coordinate effectively with different departments and government agencies.
