Job summary

Envirocycle Innovation Philippines Inc. is seeking a qualified Pollution Control Officer (PCO) to ensure DENR-EMB regulatory compliance across permits, reports, and programs.

The candidate will coordinate with government agencies, maintain environmental records, and implement waste management and monitoring initiatives across sites in the Philippines.

Qualifications

• Certified Pollution Control Officer (PCO) required.
• Knowledge of DENR and EMB regulations and compliance requirements.
• Experience in environmental compliance, waste management, or related functions is advantageous.
• Familiarity with ECC, hazardous waste management, environmental monitoring, and regulatory reporting.
• Strong documentation and report-writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with DENR-EMB environmental laws, regulations, permits, and requirements.
• Monitor and maintain environmental compliance documents, records, and reports.
• Prepare and submit required environmental reports and documentation to DENR/EMB.
• Assist in implementing and monitoring environmental programs.
• Monitor waste segregation, storage, handling, and disposal practices.
• Coordinate with accredited third-party providers for monitoring and testing.
• Maintain records for hazardous waste, solid waste, wastewater, and air emissions.
• Assist in securing and maintaining environmental permits and clearances such as ECC.
• Coordinate with DENR, EMB, LGU and other agencies as needed.
• Conduct site inspections to identify potential compliance issues.

About the role

We are looking for a Pollution Control Officer (PCO) who will be responsible for ensuring the company's compliance with DENR-EMB environmental regulations, permits, and reporting requirements. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable in environmental compliance and capable of coordinating with government agencies, maintaining environmental records, and implementing programs to minimize environmental impacts.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with applicable DENR-EMB environmental laws, regulations, permits, and requirements
• Monitor and maintain environmental compliance documents, records, and reports
• Prepare and submit required environmental reports and documentation to DENR/EMB
• Assist in the implementation and monitoring of the company's environmental programs
• Monitor proper waste segregation, storage, handling, and disposal
• Coordinate with accredited third-party service providers for environmental monitoring and testing
• Maintain records related to hazardous waste, solid waste, wastewater, air emissions, and other environmental requirements, as applicable
• Assist in securing, monitoring, and maintaining environmental permits and clearances such as ECC and other DENR/EMB-related permits
• Coordinate with DENR, EMB, LGU, and other relevant government agencies when necessary
• Conduct regular site inspections and identify potential environmental compliance issues

About you
