Atlas Lima Manufacturing Company Inc. in the Philippines seeks an Environmental Compliance professional to manage PCO duties, regulatory reporting, waste management, and inspections. The role requires a PCO certification, a degree in Engineering or Environmental Science, and 1–2 years of related experience.
Strong MS Office skills and excellent communication are essential. Responsibilities include permit management, site inspections, incident response, and coordination with government agencies.
Environmental Compliance (PCO Duties)
Permit Management: Secure, renew, and maintain valid environmental permits (e.g., Permit to Operate, Discharge Permit, Hazardous Waste Generator ID).
Regulatory Reporting: Prepare and submit Self-Monitoring Reports (SMR) and Compliance Monitoring Reports (CMR) to regulatory bodies on time.
Waste Management: Oversee the proper segregation, storage, and disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous waste.
Inspections & Audits: Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with environmental laws and host government inspectors.
Incident Response: Act as the primary point of contact for environmental matters and address any compliance issues immediately.
Administrative Support
Office Operations: Manage daily office tasks, including handling correspondence, answering calls, and maintaining files.
Supplies Management: Monitor, inventory, and order office and pantry supplies.
Documentation: Draft memos, reports, and meeting minutes, ensuring all company records are organized.
Liaison Work: Coordinate with government agencies, suppliers, and service providers for various corporate requirements.
Team Support: Assist other departments with scheduling, travel arrangements, and event planning as needed.
Qualifications & Skills
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Environmental, Civil), Environmental Science, or a related field.
Certification: Must be Certified Pollution Control Officer (PCO) accredited by the DENR-EMB.
Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years of experience handling environmental compliance and basic office administration.
Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), with excellent organizational and communication skills.
