Job summary

Agripacific Corporation in Cavite is seeking a Pollution Control Officer (PCO) to ensure the plant's compliance with environmental laws and DENR requirements. You will oversee waste management, permits, licenses, and regulatory reporting, and lead programs that promote waste reduction and environmental awareness.

Based in Sitio Postema, Brgy. Sahud Ulan, Tanza, you will coordinate with DENR and agencies, perform audits and trainings, and report to HESS Head and Central Engineering Head on

Qualifications

• Graduate of Chemical Engineering or any other related four-year course.
• Preferably with 1-2 years of experience as a Pollution Control Officer (PCO) or in a related environmental compliance role.
• Knowledgeable in environmental laws, DENR regulations, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience in processing and managing environmental permits, licenses, and regulatory requirements.
• Familiarity with waste management practices and environmental compliance programs.
• Proficient in preparing and submitting regulatory reports, including SMRs, CMRs, and other required environmental reports.
• Strong analytical, documentation, communication, and coordination skills.
• Ability to conduct or assist in environmental audits, inspections, and training.
• Willing to be based in Sitio Postema, Brgy. Sahud Ulan, Tanza, Cavite.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with environmental laws, DENR regulations, and other regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and manage the plant's environmental compliance activities and requirements.
• Oversee waste management practices and identify opportunities for waste reduction and environmental improvement.
• Lead the implementation of environmental projects, programs, and awareness initiatives.
• Process, secure, and maintain required environmental permits, licenses, and clearances.
• Prepare and submit required regulatory reports, including SMRs, CMRs, and other environmental documentation.
• Coordinate with DENR and other government agencies, as well as private sector partners, on environmental compliance matters.
• Participate in DENR Region IV-A programs, projects, and activities.
• Address environmental issues and concerns raised by customers, the community, government agencies, and other stakeholders.
• Conduct and/or assist in environmental audits, inspections, and training.
• Provide technical reports and updates to the HESS Head and Central Engineering Head on the plant's environmental compliance status.
• Immediately report concerns related to the Food Safety Management System to the Immediate Superior and/or Food Safety Team.

About the Role:
