Job summary

NKC Manufacturing Philippines Corporation is seeking a motivated Junior Pollution Control Officer to join our Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Committee. This entry-level role supports compliance with Philippine environmental regulations and provides a foundation in industrial environmental management.

Based in Basak, Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu, you will assist in securing permits, inspect waste management systems, oversee waste segregation and disposal, and help prepare routine reports.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Chemical Engineering, Civil, Electrical, or engineering field.
• Preferably with knowledge of Philippine Environmental Laws.
• Fresh graduates welcome; on-site work in MEPZ 2, Basak, Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu.

Responsibilities

• Assist in securing and renewing environmental permits.
• Conduct regular inspections of waste management systems.
• Oversee segregation, storage, and disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous wastes.
• Help prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual reports.
• Assist in addressing environmental incidents, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective actions.

We are looking for a motivated Junior Pollution Control Officer (PCO) to join our Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Committee. In this entry-level role, the successful candidate will help ensure that our manufacturing plants complies with all the Philippine Environmental Legislations. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent engineering graduate, looking to build a career in industrial environmental management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in securing and renewing all necessary environmental permits.

• Conduct regular inspections of the manufacturing plant's waste management systems.

• Oversee the proper segregation, storage, and disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous solid wastes.

• Help prepare and submit relevant monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual reports.

• Assist in addressing any environmental incidents, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective actions.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of BS in Chemical Engineering, Civil, Electrical, or any engineering field

• Preferably with a background on Philippine Environmental Laws

• With relevant experience is an advantage but not required
