The PMO Specialist is part of the Group Digital Center of Excellence (CoE) and supports enterprise-wide governance across HOYA Group Digital and its divisions.
Reporting to the PMO Manager, this role is responsible for ensuring strong execution of portfolio health monitoring, demand management, and value realization practices across a federated operating model. The PMO Specialist works closely with divisional teams to drive consistency, transparency, and alignment with Group Digital strategy and governance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the PMO Manager in maintaining end-to-end portfolio visibility across Group Digital and divisions
- Track performance across schedule, budget, scope, risks, and dependencies
- Prepare and maintain portfolio dashboards and health reports
- Identify issues and upscale cross-division risks and constraints
- Ensure adherence to PMO governance standards and KPIs
2. Demand Management
- Manage the centralized demand intake and tracking process
- Validate and assess incoming requests against strategy, priority, and capacity
- Maintain a consolidated demand pipeline across Group and divisions
- Support prioritization discussions led by the PMO Manager
- Ensure quality and completeness of business cases
3. Value Management & Benefits Realization
- Track planned vs. actual benefits across initiatives
- Support definition of KPIs and value metrics with stakeholders
- Maintain benefits realization reports and dashboards
- Assist in post-implementation reviews and value tracking
- Highlight gaps in value delivery and support corrective actions
4. Governance & Reporting
- Execute PMO governance processes (stage gates, reporting cycles, compliance checks)
- Support preparation of executive-level reports and insights
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and timeliness across all reporting
5. Stakeholder Coordination
- Coordinate between PMO Manager, Group Digital teams, Divisional PMOs / project teams, Business stakeholders
- Drive alignment and adoption of standard PMO practices across divisions
- Support development of PMO templates, tools, and frameworks
- Contribute to PMO maturity and standardization initiatives
- Assist in rollout and adoption of enterprise PPM tools and dashboards
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Engineering, or related field
- 3-6 years of relevant experience in PMO / project coordination
- Experience in regional or enterprise environments preferred PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent is an advantage
- Solid understanding of PMO governance and portfolio management
- Experience in demand management and benefits tracking
- Strong analytical and reporting skills (Excel, Power BI, PPM tools)
- Good stakeholder coordination skills across multi-entity environments
- Detail-oriented with strong process discipline and data accuracy
