Job summary

Republic Cement in Taguig, Philippines, is seeking an Assistant Finance Controller to partner with plant leadership and drive financial performance. The role requires ensuring cost control, accurate product costing, and data-driven decision-making, with on-site work at our Cebu plant for about a week each month.

The successful candidate will lead budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting, monitor KPIs and variances, and support Capex tracking.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA preferred).
2+ years’ experience in controlling, reporting, and forecasting.
Manufacturing experience preferred (1+ year).
Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to influence decisions.
Work Arrangement: Head Office-based role (Taguig) with on-site Cebu plant travel about one week per month.

Responsibilities

Lead budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.
Monitor plant KPIs, costs, and variances.
Ensure accurate product costing and financial analysis.
Support Capex tracking and operational efficiency initiatives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business results.
Consolidate financial and operational data across all plant locations to provide timely, accurate insights.
