Job summary

TASQ Staffing Solutions in Cebu City is seeking a Lead Finance Controller to oversee local accounting operations and provide leadership to the AP, Tax, and Controllership teams. This onsite role requires strong knowledge of Philippine accounting standards and PEZA compliance.

You will manage asset monitoring, risk mitigation, and monthly performance reporting, supporting strategic decisions. Start ASAP; 1–3 years of relevant experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or Management Accounting.
• 1 to 3 years of relevant experience.
• PEZA compliance and asset management.
• Local laws, revenue regulations, BPO experience.
• Local PEZA reporting requirements (monthly).
• Assets monitoring and risk mitigation.

Responsibilities

• Philippine Local Accounting Standards knowledge and statutory requirements.
• PEZA Compliance & Reporting: PEZA reporting, coordination with government agencies.
• Information Flow Management: manage financial/operational data for internal/external reporting; ensure data accuracy.
• Asset Monitoring & Risk Mitigation: oversee asset tracking; identify risks; implement mitigations.
• Monthly Performance Reporting (MPR): prepare and analyze MPRs to support strategic decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Expertise in Philippine Local Accounting Standards: Strong working knowledge of local accounting policies, procedures, and statutory requirements specific to the Philippines.
  
• PEZA Compliance & Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely PEZA reporting including preparation and submission of required documents. Maintain compliance with PEZA regulations and coordinate with government agencies.
  
• Information Flow Management: Manage the inflow of financial and operational data for internal and external reporting; ensure information is validated, complete, and submitted on time.
  
• Asset Monitoring & Risk Mitigation: Oversee tracking of company assets to prevent losses or discrepancies. Proactively identify financial and compliance risks, and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
  
• Monthly Performance Reporting (MPR): Prepare and analyze MPRs to assess business performance and support strategic decision-making.
