Job summary

GJM Manpower Resource, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Plant Accounting Head/Supervisor in the Philippines to oversee accounting and financial operations. The role focuses on financial reporting, cash flow, payroll, inventory, and compliance while supporting admin and HR tasks as needed.

You will lead the finance team, ensure accurate financial statements, manage contractor payments and import-related transactions, and drive process improvements in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field.
• Min 5–7 years of accounting/finance with supervisory experience.
• Experience in payroll, contractor payments, inventory and import transactions.
• Proficient in XERO, SAP, QuickBooks and Excel.
• Knowledge of P&L, balance sheets, tax regulations and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily accounting and finance operations.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
• Manage payroll, payments, inventory-related transactions, and contractor disbursements.

About the role

The ideal candidate is flexible, detail-oriented, and capable of managing financial reporting, cash flow, payments, payroll, inventory, and compliance while supporting administrative and HR-related tasks when needed.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily accounting and finance operations
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies
• Manage payroll, payments, inventory-related transactions, and contractor disbursements
• Lead and supervise the finance team to ensure efficiency and accuracy
• Assist management with financial planning and decision-making
• Provide support for administrative and HR-related functions as needed

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 - 7 years of accounting and finance experience, including supervisory experience
• Strong background in financial reporting, cash flow management, budgeting, and accounting operations
• Knowledge of P&L, balance sheets, tax regulations, and internal controls
• Experience handling payroll, contractor payments, insurance, inventory, and import-related transactions
• Proficient in XERO, SAP, QuickBooks (QB), and Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Flexible, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrates integrity, accountability, and a strong commitment to the company
